CATCH & RELEASE FOR THE FUTURE

CATCH & RELEASE FISHING WILL CONTRIBUTE TO MAINTAINING HEALTHY FISH POPULATIONS FOR YEARS TO COME.

GET INVOLVED YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Over the years we have been involved with several conservation groups and projects. We've dedicated time on many projects and however we can help, we like to get involved, and do our part.

Participating  in the stocking of fertilized Atlantic Salmon eggs into the headwaters of the Credit and Humber Rivers is one example of some volunteer work we've been involved with

When were out fishing many of the Ontario's great lake tributaries we clean up lots of garbage that's been left behind by other anglers. Take your garbage home with you, it doesn't belong in the forests and along the banks of these tributaries, do your part to help keep our waters and shorelines clean.

We've participated in several Electrofishing outings on several headwaters of Lake Ontario's tributaries with the MNRF. These projects have given the groups involved vital information relating to various species of fish found in these particular tributaries. Information gathered has been processed for further evaluation.

Here are a few Conservation groups that we have contributed to over the years, New volunteer are always welcomed, do your part to help with protecting and improving Ontario's fisheries.

You can find links to these groups on the Link page on this site

We have helped with spawning surveys on Bowmanville Creek at the fishway. During these outings we recorded the species, sex, if there's were lamprey marks present on the

fish, and length

Lifting Salmon and Trout with the Bowmanville Creek Anglers over the Goodyear Dam on Bowmanville Creek while the new fishway was being built. The great work done by all the volunteers ensured that salmon and trout were able to travel further upstream to spawn
